Discuss bad effects of smoking, drugs, alcohol and good health habits (Fitness and Physical Fitness belt loop); Show how to find your pulse (Physical Fitness belt loop); Present record of daily meals; type of openings for flag ceremonies (Citizen); Come up with idea for PSA (Fitness); Have parent discuss "How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse" (TAKE HOME for Fitness)

Opening flag ceremony (Panthers); Discuss Citizenship (Citizen); Plan trip to National Building Museum (Traveler); Work on PSA (Fitness); Practice physical fitness skill (Physical Fitness belt loop); Check for a first aid kit in family car (TAKE HOME for Traveler)

Trip to Bowie City Hall to meet with Councilman Jenkins about the rights and duties of a citizen.  Badger patrol leads the opening ceremony (Citizen).

Trip to National Building Museum ($9 per scout/ $3 per adult) (Artist, Craftsman and Engineer)

Opening flag ceremony (Roadrunner); Finish work on PSA (Fitness); Record final physical fitness skill performance (Physical Fitness belt loop)

Thanksgiving Weekend Frisbee Golf at Paint Branch Parkway Community Park Disc Golf Course (optional)

Create a Den Constitution (Citizen); Create Patrol flags (Craftsman)

Assigned person should bring enough snacks or drinks for 6 scouts.  Serving size is the same as you would pack for lunch.  Examples: bag of chips or cookies or a juice box.
